Yesterday we ran the first of our summer workshops, lead by Ian Baird from The Woodland Trust - a family friendly walk through the woodland between Kingsbarns and Cambo Gardens. With fascinating facts about our native trees and plants, and a scavenger hunt and games for the kids, it was a great afternoon. I was shocked to learn that only 4% of the UK is covered by native woodland - we urgently need more woodland to help protect native biodiversity and combat the climate crisi
We were delighted to receive some funding from Climate Action Fife to help raise awareness of the climate crisis in the lead up to COP26 in Glasgow. We will be using it to run a series of three workshops over the summer - Trees for Life and Living, Climate Friendly Gardening and A Walk with the Cows (Regenerative Farming).
