Yesterday we ran the first of our summer workshops, lead by Ian Baird from The Woodland Trust - a family friendly walk through the woodland between Kingsbarns and Cambo Gardens. With fascinating facts about our native trees and plants, and a scavenger hunt and games for the kids, it was a great afternoon. I was shocked to learn that only 4% of the UK is covered by native woodland - we urgently need more woodland to help protect native biodiversity and combat the climate crisis.
